Terms of Service

Welcome to Friendzee. These Terms explain the rules for using our app and website. By creating an account or using Friendzee, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What Friendzee is

Friendzee is a social service that lets people create and join group challenges in private circles, use in-app credits called Starz and confirm outcomes together. Starz are entertainment credits for use within Friendzee only; they are not a bank deposit, security or cryptocurrency.

2. Eligibility

By using Friendzee you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, are legally able to enter into a binding agreement, and comply with all terms and conditions that apply to your use of Friendzee.

3. Accounts

• Provide accurate registration information and keep your login details secure.
• Use one account per person unless we expressly allow otherwise.
• We may suspend or close accounts used to misuse the service, manipulate results, mislead others or harass members of the community.

4. Challenges and outcomes

• A host creates a challenge, sets the possible outcomes and invites people to join a private circle using Starz.
• Participants confirm the result through Friendzee’s in-app process, which may include a majority-confirmation window. Any platform fee will be shown in the app before confirmation.
• Friendzee provides the confirmation process but does not decide real-world disagreements outside it. Create and join challenges only with people you know and trust.
• Payouts based on the outcome are paid to the winners’ in-app wallet and are paid out in Starz.
• Once created, challenges are final and cannot be changed.

5. Starz and payments

• Starz are in-app credits for use within Friendzee only.
• You can buy Starz with South African rand. R1 equals 1 Starz, and all challenges and wallet balances are displayed in Starz.
• Starz purchases may be processed by valid third-party payment providers.
• Unless the law requires otherwise, confirmed Starz purchases and challenge entries are final.
• Payout of Starz can be requested via the payout link, once a minimum balance of 200 Starz (Two Hundred) is reached.
• Friendzee charges a 10% service fee for using our services. This helps us securely process rewards, maintain the app and keep every challenge running smoothly from start to finish.
• Service fee is charged on every challenge created, accepted or joined.
• Winner or winners are paid out from the challenge pool. In the case of multiple winners, the challenge pool is divided according to the amount of challengers.
• Winners are paid out based on the majority selection of the outcome at the end of the challenge.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Friendzee for unlawful gambling, commercial bookmaking or any other illegal activity.
• Harass, scam, threaten or impersonate anyone.
• Reverse engineer, overload or attempt to bypass the service’s security, rules or fees.
• Upload unlawful, harmful or abusive content, including profile media.

7. Intellectual property

Friendzee’s name, branding, product design and software belong to us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant us permission to host, process and display that content as reasonably needed to operate the service.

8. Disclaimers

Friendzee is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that every confirmed outcome will match each participant’s personal view, or that any participants will receive Starz.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Friendzee and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of Starz resulting from disputes between users, device problems or third-party service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the greater of 250 Starz (Two Hundred and Fifty) or the Starz you purchased during the three months before the claim arose, limited to a maximum of 250 Starz (Two Hundred and Fifty).

10. Termination

You may stop using Friendzee at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the service or if Friendzee is discontinued.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and provide any notice required by law. By continuing to use Friendzee after the updated Terms take effect, you accept the revised Terms.

You agree to receive communications from Friendzee and associated partners from time to time, and also based on the mechanics of the challenge or how the service dictates.
